Mid-market opportunity: Axa XL names new leader
Axa XL says the mid-market segment provides a clear growth opportunity for the insurer and it’s appointed a new regional head to drive the expansion.
Laetitia Lebas, who has been with Axa XL for more than a decade, has been named Head of Mid-Market APAC and Europe.
“Our leadership in the large commercial property, casualty and specialty insurance markets is well established,” Southern Europe Regional Manager and Executive Sponsor for the APAC and Europe Mid-Market initiative Julien Guenot said.
“Building on our knowledge of working with large corporates to bring our expertise to larger mid-market clients, in collaboration with other Axa entities, is a clear opportunity.”
Ms Lebas joined Axa France in 2012 as Global Account Manager for Axa Santé Collective. She has since held a variety of roles and joined the executive committee of Axa Partners France in 2017 and was appointed as Sales Director for Credit Lifestyle Protection and Motor and Banking Assistance.
Previously she has held roles with BNP Paribas Assurance and AIG, her Linkedin page shows.
“Laetitia is a seasoned insurance professional with a proven track record within Axa,” Mr Guenot said. “She has the right expertise and experience to successfully collaborate with teams across the company to build out our capabilities and mid-market offering.”
